A nursery is provided during all three worship services for children 4 and under to the left of the Sanctuary. Children over 5 years are encouraged to join their families during worship. Little treats are available on the coffee bar counter. Grab a ”busy bag” for your pre-schooler at the entrance to the worship space, to help your child stay focused during worship. We have a very exciting curriculum this year called, “Believe.” This series helps children explore the concepts of hope, purpose, forgiveness, and love. There are three ten week sessions involved. The first focuses on what we believe and how we can start to think like Jesus. The next section focuses on what we should do and how we can start to act like Jesus. In our last section, we will focus on who we are becoming and how we might be like Jesus.
A wonderful aspect of this program is that it mirrors what is being taught during the church service. This will help to foster communication and learning for both parents and their children. Some of the best resources a child has to further his/her journey with Christ are parents and extended family members.
God has bestowed on us the wonderfully awesome responsibility of raising our children to know Christ and we would love nothing more than to help on that journey. After all believe is an action word. We need to show our children that believing in God should reflect in our daily actions.

We are very excited to offer an early release day program right here at Immanuel. Our goal is to provide a safe, yet fun and engaging environment for students K-5th grade on days that school releases early. Our staff, along with some volunteers, create an exciting plan for the day that is sure to keep your child busy and wanting to come back! This involves games, crafts, homework help, snacks, and more.
There is a small fee of $3 for this program, which is only to cover the cost of the bus. If you are looking for care for your child during an early release day, please contact Sarah or Holly.
Each summer brings the opportunity for playful praise and worship during Immanuel’s Vacation Bible Camp Program. This faith enrichment camp offers children preschool through 6th grade a chance to sing, learn bible stories, share dinner, play games, create projects, and build friendships over the course of a 5-day summer celebration. Bible camp organizers are always looking for talented junior high and high school youth, as well as adults, to share their leadership abilities with children who come to learn…come praise and laugh with us!
Parents with small children (not yet school aged) are invited to join us for a weekly program that celebrates being a parent! Sarah Beauregard, our children’s ministry director facilitates this group. There is a prepared lesson from the Bible as well as a lot of discussion about daily life as a parent. Each week Moms and Tots from Immanuel gather at a church member’s home to talk, laugh, play, and share in the wonders of parenting. The children stay busy bonding and making new friends, while the moms do the same! Come when you can…new friends are a blessing to the group! Bring a snack/drink and join the fun! Our meetings are held Tuesdays at 9:30. Please contact Sarah for details at church, at email@example.com , or on her cell (414)699-9156.
