+ Christmas Cantata Thanks: Cantata Participants-EXCEPTIONAL presentation by ALL this morning!!! I can’t find the words to describe how inspiring, joyous, and fabulous the entire presentation was. Hearts were moved and lives touched! I am so grateful that you were able to share your musical gifts to celebrate and herald the birth of our Savior, Jesus. The musical talent we have at Immanuel is breathtaking! Thanks for offering your time, energy, and talent for such a wonderful and uplifting music ministry. We have so many to be thankful for-including EVERY single participant. The band supplied a first-rate accompaniment to the glorious singers. Special thanks to Bruce Reek for controlling the soundboard; we couldn’t present without his extreme dedication to making us sound great! Thanks to Rick Ruby for working so hard to create a recording (and run the video). Thanks to Jaime Ivan for creating rehearsal CD’s, her help designing a seating chart, and for her superb leadership with warm-ups. Thanks to Kathy Middleton for her excellent leadership on the keys throughout. Thanks to Pastor Mary Ann for the brilliant words of inspiration-spoken with such passion. Thanks to the Drapers for feeding our bodies downstairs, so we could feed others’ souls with brilliant music. Every piece of the ensemble plays such a crucial role-thanks to ALL for the sheer joy that you have given me as your director! FABULOUS JOB!!! John Ivan

+ The Bells of Immanuel rang a beautiful Christmas piece on December 23rd. Thanks to all participants and director Ellen Hanson for sharing your time and talents in this celebrated ministry!

+ Thanks to Dennis Yakes for his special guitar music on December 23rd. In the midst of a busy holiday season, he graciously offered his musical talents for all to hear.

+ Christmas Parade Thanks: Praise Team-You guys were on fire this past weekend! We are so blessed by your talents and music ministry. The parade was no only a blast, but such a great way to spread the Gospel to the community. I have heard numerous positive, excited, and cheerful comments. We simply can’t thank you enough for spending a Saturday in December to evangelize His Word. It probably goes without saying, but we could not have achieved this event without Bruce Reek. He does so much, gives so much, and never wants any credit. Be sure to thank him for his immense contributions. Thanks to our band, Al Novak, Dennis Yakes, and Doug Ehlert-you were rockin and the “live” music is what makes the float so cool. Thanks to our singers-your excitement is contagious and dedication so appreciated. Thanks to Richard McWherter for driving. Huge thanks to the walkers (or should I say runners) whole got the message out. Thanks to Nicole McQuestion for designing the beautiful flyers. Special thanks to Dan and Edith Garrison Draper for hosting a wonderful party after-the perfect end to a delightful day. Thanks to All for help with set-up, tear-down, cleaning, etc. We are blessed with a wonderful team, it is such a joy collaborating with you! Sunday morning was also riveting and exciting, even though we were all exhausted. The Praise Team anthem was awesome-such a unique and lovely piece to compliment Advent. Thanks for sharing! + Special thanks to Mindy, Meta, and Becca Ehlen for their holiday preludes at all three services on December 23rd! The holiday trio was a perfect way to start the 4th Sunday in Advent worship. Thanks to a precious family!

+ Christmas Eve worship was a spectacular celebration of our Savior’s birth! Thanks to all who ministered that created a wonderful worship experience for the magical night. Special thanks to the Brass Ensemble-Greg Bunge, Doug Ehlert, Liz Ehlert, Evan Gibson, and Keith Addison-for their dynamic music. Thanks to Greg Bunge and Doug Ehlert for their majestic duet! Thanks to the Praise Team for the poignant, beautiful anthem “Hallelujah, Light Has Come”. Thanks to our three special singers-Vincent Faul, Paige Lind, and Nathan Buntrock-for singing and leading “Away in the Manger”. Special thanks to Josh Schmidt and Kelly Gerlitz for the beautiful vocal duet “Christmas Offering”. Thanks to the Ehlerts for the lovely brass duet. Thanks to the Christmas Choral Ensemble for sharing your talents singing “O Holy Night”. Thanks to all our participants for graciously giving your time and talents on your Christmas Eve-Kathy Middelton, Jim Russell, Shelby Peteler, Mike Van Dyke, Mike Gieron, Holly Schmidt, Greg Bunge, Doug Ehlert, Evan Gibson, Liz Ehlert, Brady Schmidt, Keith Addison, Bruce Reek, Ken Field, Rick Ruby, and the entire Praise Team! The evening would not be complete without the Pastor’s brilliant message and welcoming leadership!
